Huckabee wrong on Christian food fight

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino is no fan of Chick-fil-A, but there isn't anything he can do to stop the controversial fast-food chain from opening a branch in the city — and he knows it.

BOSTON, July 26 (Reuters) – Boston Mayor Thomas Menino has waded into the national controversy surrounding fast food chain Chick-fil-A, whose president has publicly opposed same-sex marriage, urging the chicken sandwich sellers to stay out of Boston.

Dan Cathy, the president of the fast-food franchise Chick-fil-A, now rather famously said that he believes in traditional marriage. And the company donates to groups that are against extending rights to gays and lesbians, including Focus on the Family.

I began to bargain, asking my conservative friends if they'd agree to eat Oreos and Girl Scout cookies so I could go to Chick-fil-A. Then I read Cathy's interview in its entirety and noticed another of his quotations.

Failed Green Party presidential candidate Roseanne Barr said that anyone who eats at Chick-fil-A deserves to get cancer, Twitchy reported Wednesday. "[A]nyone who eats S**t Fil-A deserves to get the cancer that is sure to come from eating antibiotic
